Mob Wives creator Jennifer Graziano hints that the show may be returning to TV.
More than a decade after it was canceled, show creators say that there are plans to revive Mob Wives. The series followed the wives and daughters of people connected with the Italian American Mafia in New York City.
Now a reboot may be in the works.

“Networks reached out to me last year wanting a reboot, but they wanted a different show,” Jennifer shared with E! News. “They didn’t want the same old … cast members. They didn’t want the same old stories. [Actually,] they wanted new cast members, with all the others sprinkled in.”
While her older sister and Mob Wives star Renee Graziano joked about her sister calling them “old,” Jennifer continued. The new show would be built around a new “famiglia,” with Renee providing the transition from the earlier series.
“Same theory, but different cast members,” Jennifer added. “And they wanted it multigenerational. We have about nine new cast members. Some in their 30s, some in their 40s. They’re all kind of new age in the sense that they’re looking at it from a different perspective.”
Though the reboot version would have some new faces, it would remain true to the original show. Jennifer, whose father was the late Bonanno crime family member Anthony A. Graziano, noted that the possible new cast members all have “such great connections with real big, well-known names.”
While she expects plans for the reboot to take shape over the next few months, Jennifer has a backup plan. “[Maybe ] I’ll finance it myself and put it out,” she joked. “So that’s where we are right now.”
But after setting things in motion, Jennifer doesn’t want to be so hands-on this time around. “I want to just get it going and then I’m going to the beach,” she shared. She plans to hire “an entire team to handle my work for me. I will never, ever, ever do what I did the last time and spend all that time on set.”
