Given their long-time friendship, it won’t be unusual if she is indeed Swift’s bridesmaid and an integral part of her special day.

Selena Gomez will reportedly be a bridesmaid at Taylor Swift’s wedding. The pop icon is allegedly tying the knot with Travis Kelce. Reports suggest that the wedding festivities will occur over the July 3 weekend at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Page Six reports that neither Gomez nor Swift has commented on the same. However, sources claim that the former would be the bridesmaid at the highly anticipated wedding.
The two have been besties for a long time now. They first became friends in 2008. Back then, the “Lose You to Love Me” hitmaker was dating Nick Jonas, whereas Swift was in a relationship with Joe Jonas.
During a 2017 interview, Gomez shared her sentiments on her friendship with Swift. She said, “It was amazing, because she was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots. And I was definitely up-and-coming, and we just clicked.” She added, “It was the best thing we got out of those relationships.”
Their friendship grew stronger over the years, and they have been close since, always having each other’s backs. So it is no surprise that Swift’s friend would be her bridesmaid on her big day.
Swift, too, has been vocal about her bond with the singer. During a 2014 interview with E!, she commented on how they both have just “hung in there through all the different changes” they have gone through. She added, “Longevity is something you really can find very precious and rare in friendships.”
