A photo showing an elegant card labeled “Taylor and Travis Kelce” has resurfaced online, prompting fresh speculation that it came from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s reported wedding celebrations. However, the viral image is not new and actually traces back to another couple’s wedding last year.
Fans confused after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s old wedding invite goes viral again
The confusion began after an X account reposted the photo with the caption, “so apparently a picture from one of the tables at the wedding has leaked.” The post quickly gained traction, with many users believing it showed a table card from Swift and Kelce’s rumored wedding. The image shows a pale blue envelope labeled “Taylor and Travis Kelce” and “Table 13.”
Many social media users interpreted it as a place card or invitation connected to Swift and Kelce’s rumored wedding festivities. In reality, the photo is from 2024 and has no connection to the couple’s reported wedding plans. One user commented, “IS SHE CHANGING HER LAST NAME,” while another quickly responded, “She’s not gonna change her name.” Others were quick to point out that the image wasn’t new, with one user writing, “This is from TEU last year.”
The image first gained attention after Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet married Emily Jarosz last year. During the celebrations, Ellie Nottoli shared behind-the-scenes moments on her Instagram Stories, including a sample envelope addressed to “Taylor and Travis Kelce” with “Table 13” printed beneath their names.
Although the envelope quickly fueled speculation online, Nottoli clarified that neither Swift nor Kelce attended the wedding. Instead, the singer and the Kansas City Chiefs star were reportedly attending another wedding in Tennessee that same weekend.
The envelope drew additional attention because it placed the pair at “Table 13,” a number long associated with Swift. Fans debated whether the seating assignment intentionally referenced the singer. Despite the online speculation, the envelope was only a sample for the seating arrangements at Kmet’s wedding and was never used by Swift or Travis Kelce. The image has now resurfaced on X without its original context. This has led many users to believe it was part of Swift and Kelce’s own wedding celebration.
