Josh Allen revealed the changes he faced after welcoming his and Hailee Steinfeld’s baby daughter. He told PEOPLE that he not only “love being a dad” but also has welcomed the “interrupted” sleep he has been getting. Furthermore, the NFL star spoke about the reason why his approach has not changed, but his mindset has changed before his game.
“It’s to show this little daughter that me and my wife are trying to raise how hard you need to work to accomplish something so great, so, I don’t think that the approach changes, but the why behind it does,” Allen said.
Moreover, the Buffalo Bills quarterback revealed his new sleep cycle. He mentioned that he used to be a “late sleeper,” and if he went to bed by 11:30 p.m. someday, it “was a win.” But after Harper came into their lives, his time has completely changed. Now, Allen and Steinfeld go to sleep much earlier than before.
“Now, if I’m not in bed by 10, it means we’re probably doing something wrong. So, baby goes down at a certain time and me and my wife are shortly after her, just making sure that we can get as much sleep as we can,” he added.
