Instead, they allegedly offered guests an impressive dessert display featuring around 30 different cakes. The unique setup has already generated plenty of buzz online, with fans praising the idea as both creative and personal.

If reports are to be believed, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce decided against having one traditional wedding cake at their July 3 reception in New York City. That said, they allegedly opted for a massive dessert table featuring around 30 different cakes.
TMZ reported that each cake was topped with a different 3D figure of the couple. As a result, guests reportedly had dozens of unique cakes to choose from rather than gathering around one centerpiece. The unusual display quickly became one of the highlights of the evening.
However, cake was only part of the menu. According to PEOPLE, the dessert station also featured cookies, pastries, and Pop-Tarts. One insider even described it as “a focal point” of the reception, suggesting guests kept returning to sample the wide variety of treats.
The inclusion of Pop-Tarts also appeared to have a personal meaning. Previously, Kelce had publicly praised Swift’s homemade version of the snack. “Her homemade Pop-Tarts are unbelievable,” he said during press for the 2025 Super Bowl. Because of that, many fans viewed the dessert choice as a sweet nod to their relationship.
Meanwhile, the rest of the reception is believed to have followed the same relaxed approach. Instead of a formal sit-down dinner, guests were allegedly able to visit multiple food stations. Reports claimed the menu included pasta, sushi, steak, seafood, burgers, and fries. An insider also said “there were bars everywhere,” giving guests plenty of places to eat and socialize.
Despite the large guest list, Swift and Kelce reportedly made time for everyone. A source told PEOPLE the couple spent much of the evening greeting guests and thanking them for attending. Another insider claimed, “a huge smile never left either of their faces.”
