Nina Dobrev may have let the PDA do the talking. The Vampire Diaries alum was spotted getting affectionate with Dougie Joseph during a New York City outing, weeks after the pair first sparked dating rumors.

Nina Dobrev and Dougie Joseph fueled romance chatter again after photographers captured them together in New York City on July 11. The pair appeared relaxed during the stroll, which also included Dobrev’s dog, Maverick.
People reported that Joseph wrapped his arms around Dobrev and kissed her on the cheek during the outing. The affectionate moment quickly made the dating rumors harder to ignore, especially after fans had already connected the two in June.
Dobrev sparked fresh dating buzz after she stepped out in New York with Joseph and Maverick. At the time, the sighting came shortly after Deuxmoi shared a fan-submitted photo of Dobrev walking with a “mystery man,” later identified as Joseph.
The latest outing gave the story a much stronger push. Us Weekly reported that Joseph stood behind Dobrev with one hand at her waist, while she placed one hand over his and another on his cheek. In another photo, the two walked with their arms around each other.
Joseph, an Australian model and co-founder of Bondi Skin Co., has not publicly commented on the relationship. Dobrev also has not issued a formal statement about her status with him.
Still, the timing has drawn attention. The New York City outing came 10 months after Dobrev ended her engagement to Shaun White. They split in September 2025 after five years together and multiple sources reported that the decision was mutual.
Dobrev also shut down Zac Efron dating rumors after fans linked them following her breakup. She later clarified that they were just friends. For now, the Nina Dobrev boyfriend conversation has moved from quiet speculation to very public PDA. And while neither side has labeled the romance, the photos seem to say plenty.
