Rita Ora has shared some behind-the-scenes information about the filming of Descendants: Wicked Wonderland, revealing that she and her co-star Brandy Norwood had plenty of fun with “naughty” antics.
Both actresses bonded over the maternal instincts that their characters showcased on screen.

Ora attended the Los Angeles premiere of Descendants: Wicked Wonderland, where she reflected on reuniting with Brandy for the fifth film in the franchise.
Speaking to People, Ora joked, “Me and Brandy got up to so much naughty stuff on set that the kids were like, ‘Can we?’ and I’m like, ‘Sorry.'”
The actress also revealed that she had an opportunity to show another side of her character, the Queen of Hearts. “I think that soft people can have a streak of fierceness in them as well,” Ora said, adding, “She just is … I really tapped into my motherly instinct in this movie because we find out that I have another daughter in this new sort of universe. I will do anything to protect my kids.”
She added, “The Queen of Hearts and Cinderella are very close in this franchise as well, especially in this movie. I had a blast really kind of showing a different side of Queen of Hearts.”
She also opened up about her co-star Kylie Catrall, who played Red, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts. “It was like we just picked up where we left off, you know,” she said, adding, “I think Kylie, she’s one of those people that is so magnetic in terms of feeling warm. There’s never like a missed moment.”
Ora as The Queen of Hearts and Brandy as Cinderella play pivotal characters in the fifth edition of the Descendants franchise. In Descendants: Wicked Wonderland, the story explores a closer bond between the two iconic Disney characters as they navigate their roles as mothers. The film follows the aftermath of Red and Chloe’s time-travel adventure, with the queens joining forces as a new threat emerges in Wonderland.
