On August 26, the couple arrived in the country with their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. As per a source, the Duke of Sussex has returned to his old life, including reconnecting with old friends. However, his wife is allegedly struggling with the return.

According to Rob Shuter‘s new report, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship might face issues following the UK return. The Duke is reportedly rediscovering the person he was before leaving his homeland. However, the same cannot be said for the Duchess. “Within hours of landing, Harry was happier, lighter and more himself,” a source told the outlet. Moreover, he is “thrilled to be home.”
The source continued, “Britain is familiar to him in a way California never was, and you can see the difference immediately.” Insiders shared that Harry has begun reaching out to old friends. This includes people he distanced himself from after quitting his royal duties. “There are people Harry effectively dumped when he left. He moved on and never looked back. Now he’s reaching out again and beginning to acknowledge that walking away from everything may have been a huge mistake.” the insider said.
Sources also said that Harry spoke to King Charles, but there still has been no meaningful conversation with Prince William. Nevertheless, insiders have called Harry’s contact with the monarch significant. His relationship with his father is another thing Harry appeared to have left behind. On the other hand, Markle is reportedly feeling quite different. “She cannot believe she’s back,” a source said.
They added, “Meghan spent years building a completely different life in California. Returning to a country where she felt deeply unhappy and unwelcome is emotionally jarring.” The insider also addressed the contrast, saying, “Harry has come alive. He’s reconnecting with his father, his friends and his old life.” Meanwhile, “Meghan is shell-shocked.” The insider concluded, “The happier Harry becomes in Britain, the more obvious it is that they may no longer want the same life.”
