Taylor Frankie Paul is facing renewed scrutiny after DCFS records raised concerns about her parenting and mental health struggles. Utah’s Department of Children and Family Services has reportedly filed a petition against Paul, raising concerns for her children.
What the DCFS documents allege about Taylor Frankie Paul’s home life and therapy
According to TMZ, Utah’s Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) filed a petition concerning Taylor Frankie Paul. According to the filing, the agency alleged that her three children were “abused,” “neglected,” or “dependent.” Paul wanted her life coach, Kari, to take her mental health and domestic violence assessments. The filing states that Paul described Kari as “the only reason she is alive.”
The agency reportedly told Paul that Kari is not qualified to conduct the assessment during their home visit. At the same time, Paul, who was reading social media comments, stormed out of her house. She reportedly told them she was not suicidal but wanted to make certain statements in case something happened to her.
She said, “She should know who killed her if she ends up dead because she feels no one believes her.”
Her first incident of domestic violence came to light when she was seen throwing a chair at Dakota Mortensen in a video. The document alleged that her daughter, Indy, changes her brother Ever’s diaper and prepares his bottle while listening to Mortensen and Paul’s fights.
Ever has been seeking comfort from nanny Aspen and Paul’s sister. According to the filing, Paul has shown little interest in therapy. Her therapist allegedly told the agency that Paul has not made significant progress in treatment and often participates because she is “forced” to.
The SLOMW stars Dakota Mortensen and Taylor Frankie Paul are currently fighting a publicized custody battle over their son, Ever. The recent petition by the agency alleges that Paul has neglected her treatment, raising concerns about how it may be affecting her children.
