Hailey and Justin Bieber attended Finneas O’Connell and Claudia Sulewski’s wedding in Montecito, California, over the weekend. They were reportedly having a conversation like any other couple as they stepped away from other guests. Eventually, some outlets interpreted it as a possible argument.
However, Deuxmoi posted photos again on Instagram, and the caption clarified that they were not fighting. The caption clearly stated that those speculations came from paparazzi posts. It read, “At one point during the festivities, Justin and Hailey Bieber stepped away from the other guests and appeared to share an emotional and serious conversation off to the side.”
When those photos were made available to purchase by different publications, that “emotional and serious conversation” turned into a “tense argument” headline. There were no independently cited sources in those reports confirming that Justin and Hailey had fought. Instead, the coverage appeared to be based on the same photos and their accompanying description.
As per the Instagram post, sources told Deuxmoi that the couple was not fighting at the wedding, casting doubt on the Hailey and Justin feud reports. Moreover, this somehow proved that the “serious” conversation between the Biebers did not necessarily indicate conflict. Particularly when there was no direct account of what was said. In this case, the images captured only a brief moment between the couple, leaving plenty of room for interpretation.
Justin and Hailey legally wed at a New York City courthouse in September 2018 before celebrating with a larger wedding ceremony surrounded by family and friends in South Carolina in September 2019. The Biebers are currently approaching their eighth wedding anniversary. They also share a son, Jack Blues Bieber, who was born in August 2024.
