Jennifer Pedranti has addressed a frightening brush fire that now sits at the center of an ongoing investigation involving her teenage son. The Real Housewives of Orange County star publicly apologized after confirming her son and other minors played a role in the California incident.
She also promised her family would treat the situation seriously. No one suffered injuries, and authorities made no arrests.

According to TMZ, the Orange County Fire Authority estimated the Ladera Ranch brush fire burned 7.70 acres and caused roughly $10,000 in property damage. Investigators continue reviewing the case and plan to release additional information once the investigation concludes.
The publication also reported that officials interviewed three minors in connection with the fire. Authorities issued no arrests or citations, but they required the teenagers to complete fire safety courses after speaking with investigators.
Pedranti broke her silence through Instagram Stories and accepted that her son participated in the incident. “I would like to clear up the rumblings of my son having involvement in the Ladera Ranch fire,” she wrote. “He and others were involved. My ex-husband and myself take this very serious. This behavior is unacceptable, and we are deeply sorry to our community.”
She also thanked first responders for handling the frightening situation. “The fire and police were absolutely amazing and gave these boys a lesson they will never forget,” she shared. “There were no arrests made, but consequences for actions are being put into place,” according to the Los Angeles Times.
Pedranti added that her son would complete a fire safety course to prevent another mistake. “There are consequences within our family, and we will make sure our son learns from this accident,” she said.
The fire started Tuesday afternoon near Narrow Canyon Road and Acaster Way in Ladera Ranch before firefighters contained the flames after they spread across several acres.
Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Augie Romo confirmed to the newspaper that investigators interviewed three minors and expect to complete a full report within days.
Pedranti shares five children with her ex-husband, biotech entrepreneur William Pedranti. She currently appears on The Real Housewives of Orange County and remains engaged to fellow Bravolebrity Ryan Boyajian.
