Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly lack one key aspect compared to Prince William and Kate Middleton. A royal commentator and PR expert, Sharon Williams of Taurus Marketing, told News24 how different the two royal couples have been. According to her, the Sussexes often “swap and change” in the public eye. Meanwhile, the Wales couple are said to be “authentic.”
“[Markle and Harry] have become famous for the very fact that you don’t know what you’re going to get. You literally don’t know what they’re going to do next. So they’ve not built an authentic brand, or at least she hasn’t,” the expert said.
Furthermore, she insisted that people loved Harry because he was “Diana’s son.” After marrying Markle, things seemed to have changed, but the couple allegedly “haven’t quite worked out what they are.” Reportedly, people seemed “tired” of them because of their lack of “authenticity.”
Meanwhile, Middleton and William have performed their duties with that quality. According to the royal expert, the Wales pair has always been “honorable” and “dedicated” to their roles. “They don’t come out and say unusual, surprising things. They are an authentic brand, and you know what you’re going to get,” she added.
Journalist Megyn Kelly has also made similar points during the latest episode of The Megyn Kelly Show. She claimed that Markle and Harry allegedly “couldn’t stand” Middleton and William’s popularity.
