Whitney Port Makes Major Decision About Baby No. 2 Journey

Whitney Port is taking a new path in her quest for a second child. After years of ups and downs, the former reality TV favorite is ready to shift her approach. Her long and emotional road to expanding her family has played out openly with fans, and her newest update marks one of the biggest turns yet.

Whitney Port shares a major fertility journey update

Whitney Port is changing direction as she keeps working toward Whitney Port baby No.2. The former reality TV star, 41, revealed she will no longer rely on a surrogate to have another child with husband Tim Rosenman.

Instead, she plans to try carrying the baby herself. “I touched on this in my solo episode last week, but after all the red tape, the money, the emotions, and just how long everything has taken, we’ve decided to go in a different direction,” Port wrote over a photo of herself at a doctor’s office on her Instagram Stories. “I’m scared to be the vessel, but I’m even more scared of letting fear stop me from trying for something I want so deeply.” She also posted a sonogram image with the caption, “Uterus looks good! Let’s f-king go!”

The couple already share 9-year-old son Sonny. Port has been candid about the toll of her Whitney Port fertility journey, telling Spread the Jelly in January that she was working toward accepting what her family looks like. “I don’t think motherhood looks like what I imagined,” she said at the time.

Her plans as a Whitney Port surrogate hopeful shifted more than once this year. In April she said her surrogate was preparing for a fourth transfer, but by a July podcast episode she and Rosenman were seeking a new one.

That search ultimately led her to consider carrying the baby herself. “What I want is to wrap this up. I want a second child,” she said.
