A new trend, ‘Where’s Melania?’, has taken over the internet after Donald Trump‘s wife was missing from a major event recently. As the First Lady, Melania was expected to appear alongside her husband at Lindsey Graham‘s funeral. However, Trump attended the event alone, bringing only his close aide, Natalie Harp.
Melania Trump’s absence from major event has an answer
Donald Trump’s wife, Melania, was absent from late Senator Lindsey Graham’s funeral, raising eyebrows as people witnessed the President arriving alone at the service. However, her aide, Marc Beckman, has now revealed why the First Lady could not attend the funeral service.
Hinting at the reason for Melania’s absence from the funeral, Beckman took to Instagram to suggest she was busy with one of her big projects. His announcement read, “First Lady Melania Trump’s Fostering the Future FYI Initiative Marks Seven Years with Major Program Enhancements Foster Youth to Independence Program Provides Vulnerable Youth with a Pathway to Housing Stability and Self-Sufficiency.”
It also stated that Melania has described this partnership between child welfare organizations and public housing authorities as “critical.” She added, “It treats housing as an investment in the next generation rather than just another governmental safety net.”
Apart from Graham’s funeral, Melania also did not attend the rescheduled White House Correspondents’ Dinner with Trump on July 24. While speaking to Fox News before the WHCD dinner, a White House spokesperson said officials did not expect Melania to attend. Apart from Melania, the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President JD Vance were not at the event.
Melania’s last public appearance with her husband, Trump, was on July 4, 2026. The First Lady joined her husband on stage in Washington, DC, during the America 250 celebrations.
