According to Entertainment Weekly, Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, performed the new song “Love I You” during his Chicago show on Thursday. Videos of the concert showed what sounded like a playful chat between the singer and a female voice, seemingly Johnson’s. Role Model sang, “Hey, I think you’re perfect,” before the woman replied, “You say that to everyone.” He then asked, “‘Kay, well is it working?” and she answered, “Yeah, but don’t tell anyone.”

The conversation continued as the woman suggested that he was “just having fun.” Role Model responded, “Oh, you don’t know me.” Later, she asked, “What’s this time?” He answered, “I got money,” before the woman flirted by calling him “big time” and “Mr. Big Night.”

The performance comes months after Johnson and Role Model first sparked romance rumors. Johnson and Role Model first sparked dating rumors when people spotted them at dinner in December 2025. The pair were later spotted together on multiple outings in Los Angeles, fueling further speculation about their relationship.

By April, PEOPLE published photos showing the actress kissing the “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out” singer outside an office building in Los Angeles. Johnson previously dated Coldplay frontman Chris Martin before they ended their on-and-off relationship in June 2025. Although neither Johnson nor Role Model has publicly addressed the rumors, the new song has only intensified speculation about their relationship.
