Rizzle Kicks icon Jordan Stephens finally addressed his split from Little Mix singer Jade Thirlwall this week, though he made clear he has “still not processed” the breakup. The stars parted ways after six years together.
Jordan, 34, confirmed the breakup during the Friday, July 31, episode of his podcast Miss Me? He admitted to co-host Miquita Oliver that he felt “uncomfortable” watching his private life turn into a public news story.

Feeling frustrated by the ‘wild’ theories and commentary, Jordan said on the podcast, “I think I’m uncomfortable with even the concept of it being out,” he explained. “I don’t know the root of the story.”
He explained he’s deliberately holding back details because he hasn’t fully worked through what happened. “This is a difficult one because, if I’m to believe how quickly speculation can arise, I’m always a couple of words or sentences away from making things worse,” Stephens said.
The Rizzle Kicks frontman further admitted the situation has left him conflicted, given how openly he typically shares his life with fans. “I’m very conflicted because I definitely pride myself on being open and transparent,” he said. “But this is a difficult one because… I’m always a couple of words or sentences away from making things worse.”
He also revealed he isn’t ready to offer specifics because he hasn’t fully worked through the split himself.
During the podcast, he also pushed back the wave of online speculation following Jade Thirlwall and his relationship news. Stephens described the guessing games fans have played over social media activity as “bizarre”.
“Right now, I’m silent, Jade’s silent,” he said. “People are making all types of wild theories, as they would always do, desperately waiting for one of us to unfollow each other or waiting for one of us to post.”
Stephens and Thirlwall began dating in 2020 after connecting over Zoom during COVID-19 lockdowns. Jade has not yet directly addressed the split.
