According to Maren Morris, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce exchanged vows that were intimate and full of humor. Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, the “My Church” singer called the words they shared “beautiful” before saying “I do.”
“It just felt like you really got a closer look into their love for each other and their sense of humor,” shared the 36-year-old. “Being one of 1,000 people that witnessed that, it was an honor. [The best part was] just celebrating their love for each other.”
Morris further shared that she spent the evening meeting new guests and catching up with people she “hadn’t seen in a long time.” “I feel like my neck hurt by the end of the night because I just kept turning my head around seeing people I never thought I’d see before in person,” she joked. “It’s always an honor, and it’s inspiring when you go to a wedding and you feel this huge dose of hope for love. I think we all felt it that night for them. It was really fun.”
Morris and Swift share a friendship rooted in mutual respect and admiration that has only grown warmer over the years. What began with Morris looking up to the pop sensation as a teenager eventually blossomed into real collaboration.
