Alex Cooper reportedly had one firm rule for Harry Jowsey while filming Netflix’s Let’s Marry Harry. The executive producer stepped in after the reality star became a little too affectionate with contestants.
Let’s Marry Harry producer issues strict kissing ban to Harry Jowsey during filming
As reported by Page Six, executive producer Cooper asked Jowsey to stop his kissing spree with all the girls. Jowsey appeared on Page Six Radio and discussed the one thing that Cooper requested him to do. “There was one moment when I was on set, and they were like, ‘Alex said [to] stop kissing all the girls,’” Jowsey, 29, recalled. “I was getting a bit active. They needed to rein me in.”
Let’s Marry Harry is Netflix’s reality dating series that follows Jowsey as 20 women compete to win his heart. Jowsey’s closest friends, including Amanda Kloots, Georgia Hassarati and Sonny Henty, also feature in the show. Acting as friends and advisors, Jowsey’s friends help him navigate the vicissitudes of having so many women contesting for his hand.
Jowsey recalled that Netflix had approached him for the dating show. “They were like, ‘Hey, would you want to get married?’” he told Page Six. “I was like, ‘Yeah! To who?’ They were like, ‘We don’t know, but we’ll figure it out.’” the reality star said.
Even with support, Jowsey found it overwhelming at first. “It was a lot,” the Netflix heartthrob admitted. “They’re always trying to pull you for a chat, and I’m the only one. So, it was a lot the whole time.”
The television personality revealed that “playing a bigger character” and “trying to get more screen time.” He also said that his F-boy days were over. Now, he is a mellowed character than when he started his television career in his 20s.
Jowles is no newbie to the reality show scene. The “Boyfriend Material” podcaster has participated in major shows such as “Heartbreak Island”, “Too Hot to Handle”, “Match Me If You Can” and “Perfect Match”.
The finale episode of “Let’s Marry Harry” drops on August 12 on Netflix.
