Jennifer Aniston’s Take on Brad Pitt’s Drinking Differs From Angelina Jolie — Report

Brad Pitt’s decision to drink again has reportedly drawn different reactions from his famous exes. While Angelina Jolie is said to have expected the possibility, Jennifer Aniston is allegedly taking a more understanding approach. According to Hollywood insiders, Aniston has no judgment about Pitt’s choice after years of sobriety. In fact, she reportedly wants him to make his own decisions and be happy.

It appears that Jennifer Aniston has remained supportive of Brad Pitt despite his decision to drink again. Pitt recently opened up about the change in an Esquire interview, revealing that he had maintained seven years of sobriety before returning to alcohol. However, he explained that he now approaches drinking with greater restraint.

The “Fight Club” actor acknowledged that moderation has not always been straightforward. He said there were times when he became “overconfident” and had to recognize that drinking was “not good for me.”

Amid that discussion, Aniston is reportedly not judging him for the decision. A source told Naughty But Nice that she continues to support Pitt and believes he should be able to decide what works for him. “Jennifer will always root for Brad,” the insider claimed. According to the source, Aniston would have no issue with Pitt sitting down with friends and having a glass of wine if that is what he wants.

If true, that reflects how far the former couple has moved beyond their highly publicized split. Aniston and Pitt divorced in 2005, after which his relationship with Jolie became the subject of intense media attention. However, the source claimed there is no lingering bitterness between Aniston and Pitt today. “Jen would happily have a drink with Brad,” the insider added. “She wants him to be happy.”

Meanwhile, Jolie’s reaction appears to be different. Following Pitt’s comments, a separate source claimed the “Maleficent” star was “not surprised” by his decision to drink again. According to that insider, Jolie had previously expressed concerns and believed returning to alcohol was “always a possibility.”

For Aniston, however, the source claims the focus is less on Pitt’s past and more on his ability to move forward. The insider suggested she would rather see him make his own choices “without everyone judging every decision he makes.”
