Kyle Richards has said that she has not heard from Dorit Kemsley since the end of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 15.
She also said that Kemsley did not respond to her efforts to reach her.
Kyle Richards lamented not leaning on Dorit during her marital separations
Richards has alleged that she had tried to contact Kemsley to congratulate her on the release of her memoir “Unburdened”. The latter, however, did not answer. “Other than that, no, I haven’t heard from her or anything,” she told Us Weekly.
The co-stars fell out during Season 15, where they levelled several accusations against each other. This included accusations about spending habits, lack of support, and lingering tension from a Season 13 reunion. Kemsley had also read out a private text from Richards.
“I’ve never had someone to do something like that to me — ever,” Kyle recalled, adding. “To read a private text, I just couldn’t believe it. That showed me that…Wow, like, you’ll say and do anything. You don’t give a s—t.” Kemsley also alleged that Richards’s repeated criticism of her spending habits also had an impact on her divorce.
Kemsley has said that she is open to reconciling with Richards, but it would take initiative from both parties. The reality TV star said, “Listen, I think you need two people. Any type of resolve, you need two people. And I’ve always said that.” She also talked about their mutual concern for each other: “I know she cares about me. I care about her. I care about her daughters immensely.”
Richards also revealed that both of them should lean on each other for support through the crisis both are facing. Richards is referring to Kemsley’s divorce from Paul “PK” Kemsley while she herself is going through her separation from Mauricio Umansky. The RHOBH said, “I just feel like we’re both going through so much and that we would have been better off leaning on each other.”
