Famous American actress and singer Hayden Panettiere’s death at the age of 36 has left her fans heartbroken. The news has sparked shock and grief around the world, and now her close Hollywood friends and former co-stars have come forward to pay tribute to the late actress.
Viola Davis, David Arquette and Hayden Panettiere’s other co-stars remember the actress following her demise
According to People, following the 36-year-old actress’s death on August 16, 2026, several of her Hollywood friends and big names, including Viola Davis and David Arquette, came forward to express their grief and share heartfelt tributes. Former co-stars also remembered Hayden Panettiere and mourned her tragic passing.
“I love you Hayden,” David Arquette, Panettiere’s co-star from Scream 4, commented on Variety’s Instagram post.
Viola Davis shared a photo with the late actress and wrote a lengthy Instagram post in which she reflected on Hayden Panettiere’s legacy and spoke about how much she enjoyed working with her as a co-star.
Davis wrote, “What an amazing talent you were….so gifted. Julius and I loved working with you….an old, wise soul with such a deep heart.”
“I wish the world had more time with you because I had a burning curiosity about who you were becoming,” she added
Viola Davis continued, “I saw this beautiful Phoenix rising from the ashes. Your tests became your testimony, and your testimony became your legacy. You will be remembered. Rest well, Hayden.”
“Sending healing prayers to your family, your daughter, and all who loved you. May they always speak your name….♥️???,” she concluded
Along with Viola Davis and David Arquette, several of Hayden Panettiere’s other co-stars also paid tribute to the late actress. Her Heroes co-stars David Anders, Dania Ramirez and James Kyson, as well as her Bring It On: All or Nothing co-star Giovonnie Samuels, were among those who remembered her. Several other well-known Hollywood figures also shared tributes.
As per the reports, Hayden Panettiere died from cardiac arrest, and authorities pronounced her dead at around 2:30 p.m. on August 16.
