Tyla’s Completely Sheer DI PETSA Slip Dress Is Also Ridiculously Plunging

Tyla brought some serious drama to the South African Music Awards. The pop star stepped out in a DI PETSA slip dress that combined a plunging neckline, sheer fabric, and a floor-sweeping silhouette. The singer wore the statement-making look to the SAMAs, where she also took the stage with an award in hand.

Tyla’s wildly plunging and sheer DI PETSA slip dress leaves little to the imagination for SAMAS

DI PETSA shared images from the night on Instagram, revealing that Tyla was wearing the brand’s Medusa Slip dress from its AW26 collection, titled “Medusa’s Lover”. The gown featured delicate spaghetti straps and a dramatically low-cut neckline. Printed cups created a lingerie-inspired effect across the bust. Below, the design transitioned into a fitted black bodice before falling into a long skirt.

The dress’s sheerness was impossible to miss. The black material remained translucent through much of the lower half. This gave the otherwise classic slip silhouette a much more daring finish. In full-length photos, the gown extended to the floor and pooled into a small train behind her.

Tyla doubled down on the glamor with a thick, sparkling choker that wrapped closely around her neck. Along with that, she also wore multiple diamond rings and showed off a white manicure. The singer wore her dark hair long, sleek, and parted down the middle, while her beauty look featured shimmering eye makeup, flushed cheeks, and a glossy lip.

Stylist Lee Trigg was credited with putting together the look, while Esther Edeme handled Tyla’s glam. The dress also got plenty of movement beyond the stage. In clips shared by DI PETSA, Tyla posed in the gown before heading out and later showed it off in a more casual casino setting.

At the ceremony itself, Tyla appeared onstage holding her trophy and smiling behind the microphone, with the gown’s plunging printed neckline standing out. Overall, the Medusa Slip dress was already built for attention, and Tyla made sure it got exactly that.
