Margaret Qualley Pairs Plunging Dress With Chanel’s Wild Barefoot Sandals

Margaret Qualley has once again stunned the internet with her fashion choices. “The Substance” star paired a plunging black dress with Chanel’s barefoot sandals. She wore the ensemble to “The Dog Stars” premiere on Thursday, August 20, at London’s Odeon Luxe Leicester.

At “The Dog Stars” premiere in London, Margaret Qualley turned heads in a monochrome noir outfit from Chanel’s Cruise 2027 collection. Instead of the traditional pumps or red-carpet stilettos, she wore the House’s black barefoot sandals.

The sandals featured a delicate black leather base. Thin ankle ties crisscrossed and wrapped neatly around the lower ankle. They featured a tiny gold Chanel CC logo accent on the side counters. The design gave the illusion of bare feet from the front, adding a relaxed, grounded edge to the formal silhouette.

The “Honey Don’t!” actress paired the shoes with a black long dress featuring a plunging neckline and short sleeves. Small round motifs arranged in strings and tassels adorned the dress, adding texture to her look. The layered fringes created visual interest. Meanwhile, the silhouette tapered down to a sheer, tasseled hemline that swayed gently with movement.

Styled by Danielle Goldberg, Qualley elevated the look with Chanel high jewelry. She wore the Coromandel Vol Suspendu earrings. Crafted in white gold and encrusted with brilliant-cut diamonds, these statement ear-climbers featured a motif of sweeping feathers, curving upward along the lobe. This brought a dazzling, radiant contrast to her dark attire. She also wore the N5 Drop Ring, in white gold and diamonds.

Qualley styled her dark tresses in undone, middle-parted waves that cascaded over her shoulders, leaning into the relaxed aesthetic. A warm, earthy lipstick and soft, natural makeup complemented her overall ensemble. This maintained a clean yet striking red-carpet presence. Her short, dark-lacquered nails mirrored the dress’s moody tone.
