Crystal Kung-Minkoff is sharing some behind-the-scenes details from Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th. According to the former RHOBH star, several women arrived with strong feelings about Vicki Gunvalson. In particular, Gizelle Bryant apparently wasted little time warning Crystal about the RHOC veteran.
Crystal Kung-Minkoff confirms that Gizelle Bryant and Vicki Gunvalson clashed
During the Aug. 17 episode of Humble Brag, Crystal discussed filming at Sutton Stracke’s “Ugly Leather Pants” party. Ryan Bailey joined her while Cynthia Bailey was away.
Crystal said she quickly connected with Gizelle and Porsha Williams. “We were inseparable,” she recalled, adding that they continued texting after filming.
However, Crystal noticed something else when the women arrived. “All the girls were like, very anti-Vicki,” she said.
According to Crystal, Gizelle and Porsha both warned her about Vicki Gunvalson. She recalled Gizelle telling her, “That girl is a problem.”
Crystal said that warning provided context once she watched the episodes back. Earlier scenes had already shown tension building around Vicki, who has also faced criticism for her mood during the trip. Some viewers even questioned whether she had become RHUGT’s biggest “Debbie Downer”.
Still, Crystal revealed that viewers missed an even bigger confrontation. She confirmed that Gizelle Bryant and Vicki argued during a lunch.
“Gizelle came for Vicki at the lunch,” Crystal said. However, producers did not include the exchange in the episode.
That clash would fit Gizelle’s role throughout the season. She has already stirred up several conflicts, including the explosive Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge argument. Her willingness to push tense conversations has even earned her a reputation as RHUGT’s ultimate pot stirrer.
Meanwhile, Vicki has had other awkward moments with the cast. She reportedly failed to recognize Cynthia Bailey at an Atlanta party and previously confused Crystal with Sutton. That interaction also became part of the ongoing RHUGT awkwardness surrounding Vicki.
For Crystal Kung-Minkoff, the tension made more sense after she saw what happened before everyone reached Sutton’s house. Apparently, Gizelle’s warning was only the beginning.
