Spears gained her freedom from the arrangement in 2021 after 13 years.
Spears also looked back at her younger years as a performer. She was very shy offstage but was a different person when she was onstage, she said. After having children, she felt that side of her life had become “beyond overdone.” She added that it made her feel “silly and embarrassed” as she grew older.
The singer then compared her latest video with her 2007 “Gimme More” video. Spears said the new clip looked almost identical to the older video but showed a younger-looking version of herself. She described the new video as “crazy” while looking back at her appearance. Spears also spoke about how people see her body differently in paparazzi photos.
Spears said she’s been single for a long time and doesn’t show her body around much. She recalled sharing her body only once before in a green bathing suit. Spears said she looks “extremely short” in the new video, despite appearing to have longer legs in paparazzi photos and in her living room. She wrote, “You can see here I’m actually extremely short. For some reason in paparazzi pics and in my living room, I seem to have very long legs.”
