Donald Trump‘s niece, Mary Trump, recently called out his close bond with his political aide, Natalie Harp. Harp and Trump’s bond has become quite viral after the former was spotted accompanying the President on every occasion. According to reports, Harp has also been nicknamed the ‘human printer‘ in the White House as she provides him with all the material he requires in printed form.
Mary Trump says Natalie Harp’s constant presence and stream of positive material make Donald Trump appear increasingly dependent
Donald Trump’s niece, Mary Trump, recently spoke with CNN journalist Jim Acosta on a podcast and slammed the relationship the President shares with his political aide, Natalie Harp.
She claimed that Trump and Harp’s close bond makes the President “look like such a pathetic, frail, needy old man.” Mary suggested this is because Trump seems dependent on Harp for almost everything. She called Harp a “woman young enough to be his granddaughter” and criticized Trump for having Harp accompany him everywhere and protect him.
Mary added that Harp is always “making sure that he (Trump) sees positive press clippings about him, positive articles, most of which are probably fictional. It’s a very bad look for him.”
Trump’s niece noted that, amid growing criticism, he needs someone who praises him and feeds his ego. Thus, according to Mary, Harp fits the position. She suggested that Harp’s reported devotion to Trump is “extreme. It’s over the top. And again, it looks terrible. Clearly, she’s somebody who needs help.” She further described the political aide as “a very real national security threat to the United States of America.” Mary asserted that Harp and Trump’s close relationship feels “alarming” to her.
Previously, Maggie Haberman of The New York Times said the United States Secret Service is concerned about the closeness between Harp and Trump because of the letters she sent him.
