Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Might Avoid This Royal Member During Christmas — Expert

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might reportedly steer clear of Princess Anne during Christmas celebrations. For those unversed, the Sussexes flew privately from California and landed in Birmingham on August 26. Harry and Meghan reportedly intend to live in the UK for an extended period of time. Not only that, they could possibly be invited to celebrate Christmas with the royal family.

Expert reveals how Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might ‘not sit’ with this royal member

Royal expert Victoria Arbiter revealed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could possibly avoid Princess Anne during Christmas celebrations. Royal commentators sat down to discuss the royal family’s upcoming Christmas celebrations on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive podcast.

Every year, King Charles hosts the royal family at Sandringham, the private estate in Norfolk. People reportedly attend the event and watch the royal family walk to church on Christmas Day. Post their service at St Mary Magdalene Church, the royals reunite for a traditional Christmas lunch (via Express.Co.UK).

Arbiter predicted that Harry and Meghan wouldn’t want to be seated next to Princess Anne. The royal expert dished: “It’ll be interesting to see how these relations go. If I were Harry and Meghan, I’m not sure I’d want to be sitting across the table from someone like Princess Anne, just yet.”

Continuing further, Arbiter explained: “She’s very pragmatic. And I think she’d have been very upset about a lot of the things that were said. Particularly as Prince Philip was dying and then her mother was dying.”

The royal expert suggested that the Sussexes take several baby steps towards regaining the royal family’s acceptance. Interestingly, the Duke of Sussex revealed in his 2023 memoir “Spare” that his aunt was the first person to greet him when the Sussexes arrived at Balmoral after Queen Elizabeth’s death.

Moreover, the royal family’s former butler Grant Harrold revealed that King Charles may invite the Sussexes for Christmas under one specific condition. Harrold said: “If it all goes nicely and there are no upsets, I think the King will invite them for Christmas. I don’t think it’s out of the question. But they need to behave. They will have to come quietly and do their own thing. Public opinion will have to believe they are here for the right reasons” (via CasinoHawks).
