According to OK! Magazine, Prince Harry agreed to confidentiality measures before meeting King Charles following his reported return to the UK. The publication claimed the arrangement was intended to prevent details of private conversations from becoming public.
A palace source alleged that Harry effectively agreed to what insiders described as a “glorified NDA.” The insider claimed both parties understood that future family discussions would remain private. This agreement reportedly sought to ensure that no one used these conversations for books, interviews, or media projects.
The report also claimed security precautions extended beyond paperwork. According to another source, security officials could ask Harry and his family to leave recording devices outside before private meetings. The insider further alleged that routine security checks, including frisking for recording equipment, may accompany future reunions. It was also reported that Harry was frisked for this reason before his recent meeting with his father.
Another source claimed Harry was treated “like a spy” as trust within the royal family remained fragile. According to the report, palace officials remained cautious following the publication of “Spare” and previous public interviews discussing private family matters.
The publication also noted that Harry reportedly did not face similar security checks during his private meeting with King Charles in September 2025. That meeting lasted nearly an hour and marked their first face-to-face conversation in 19 months.
