Fisher shared the story in a Sept. 1 clip from the Overheard Happy Hour TikTok account. “I have a dating ick that happened recently,” she said. Fisher explained that she liked an unnamed man until his dog suddenly ran away. He then chased after the dog, but his running style changed everything for her.
“But instead of chasing upright, he ran low with his hands outstretched, like a cartoon,” Fisher recalled. She said the “ick was growing and growing” as she watched him run. By the time he caught his dog, Fisher said her attraction had disappeared. The actress has rarely discussed her dating life since her split from Sacha Baron Cohen.
Fisher and Cohen married in 2010 and spent 13 years together before separating in 2023. The former couple, who share three children, finalized their divorce in 2025. In a joint statement, they said they remained friends and committed to co-parenting their children. They also asked the media to respect their children’s privacy.
