A two-word phrase from Joe Biden’s son Hunter is doing the rounds online after he used it to sum up his feelings about Donald Trump. The former president’s son didn’t didn’t leave room for interpretation.
Hunter Biden calls Donald Trump ‘Evil Incarnate’
“I only believe that there are very few people in public life that I would ever categorize as being ‘evil incarnate,'” Hunter Biden told content creator Matthew Cullen on his YouTube channel. “Donald Trump is singular among them.”
That single sentence has become the headline moment from an otherwise sprawling conversation, one that ranged from Hunter’s laptop controversy to his views on closeted gay Republicans in government before landing on this point.
Before he got to Trump, Hunter used the interview to reflect on something that seemed to catch even him off guard: cordial exchanges with Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson, two commentators who spent years fueling scrutiny of his laptop.
Hunter framed the experience as proof that political opponents don’t have to treat every disagreement as a battle to the death. “If I can connect with somebody who voted for Donald Trump three times and listens to Tucker Carlson, then maybe – I don’t have to convince them on all of their politics,” Joe Biden’s son said.
That idea of shared ground, however, is exactly why his Trump comment lands as such a contrast. Hunter said American politics used to allow for fierce disputes without turning opponents into villains. He pointed to his own history protesting George W. Bush’s Iraq War as an example.
For Hunter, that distinction is the whole point: disagreement is normal, but he places Trump in a separate category entirely. Pressed on why, he didn’t stop at the phrase “evil incarnate.” He said, “I truly believe he’s a malignant narcissist, a sociopath, a psychopath, or a mixture of all of those things.” The comment is the latest in a string of unfiltered takes Hunter has given on Trump since his father left office.
