In a video shared by Netflix Sports, John Cena can be seen getting emotional as the crowd cheered for him at his final WWE Raw match. The 48-year-old wore a navy blue T-shirt and jeans with a matching cap.

In the short video, Cena looks around as the crowd chants his name, cheering for him loudly. The wrestler looks around, visibly emotional with a smile on his face as he appreciates the applause.

On X (formerly Twitter), one fan commented on the video, “Seeing Cena say goodbye shows why his legacy goes beyond the ring, isn’t this why we love sports entertainment?” A second fan wrote, “For real, that crowd energy is unmatched. Notably, Cena won his final WWE match in a six-man tag team match alongside Rey Mysterio and Sheamus. The 48-year-old effortlessly pinned JD McDonagh using his signature tackle style Attitude Adjustment as the crowd gave him a standing ovation.

Cena had previously shared that he wanted to retire on his own terms and not under any pressure or due to injuries. On a parting note, Cena said, “Monday Night Raw, that’s all she wrote. I love you. Thank you.”
