Jeff Bezos has reportedly launched a major landscaping overhaul on his “Billionaire Bunker” in Indian Creek Island. He is on his way to transform the property into a lush, tropical-style environment while work continues on his larger estate nearby. According to Daily Mail, the Amazon founder has filled the exterior of his approximately $87–$90 million Mediterranean-style home with mature oaks, royal palms, and extensive greenery, giving the appearance of a private botanical garden.

The waterfront mansion, which Jeff purchased in 2024, has served as his primary base in Florida with his wife, Lauren Sanchez Bezos, as construction progresses on his long-term compound just steps away. According to newly published reports, the property’s lawn is replete with imported trees and thick vegetation. The project was overseen by a professional arborist to ensure the safe transport and planting of species such as Brazilian Beauty-Leafs, Japanese yews, and Gumbo Limbo trees.

The revamped grounds also feature a series of statues that closely resemble the rounded bronze figures often associated with Colombian artist Fernando Botero. Additionally, Jeff has installed a resort-style pickleball court, reflecting his interest in the sport, which he reportedly plays frequently with Sanchez.

Meanwhile, plans referenced in the report indicate that nearly every room in the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion has been stripped and rebuilt since Bezos acquired the property in April 2024. New amenities underway include a sauna, spa, hot tub, firepit, and a poolside cabana office.

Jeff Bezos, whose net worth is estimated at around $254 billion, has not yet filed formal applications for the long-term project, suggesting that full completion may still be years away.
