Taylor Swift talks about Travis Kelce in a new docuseries clip
In her docuseries clip, Taylor Swift calls her relationship with Tavis Kelce “the greatest surprise” of her life. She explained how it all began and said, “The most meaningful relationship I’ve ever had… started with a man saying he was butthurt that I didn’t want to meet him.” (via End of an Era teaser)
This refers to a New Heights podcast between Travis and Jason Kelce, wherein the younger brother claimed he had been “a little butt-hurt” after missing a chance to hand Swift a friendship bracelet he had made. It had his phone number on it.
He claimed, “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice…so I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce belong to two different industries; however, the singer said that they are very similar. In the teaser, she expressed, “We both entertain people. His with considerably more violence than mine.”
The couple has been together for the past two years now, and this courtship has led to an engagement. It all started in 2023 with Kelce making jokes about not meeting Swift. But then he actually did, and the two hit it off. It started low-key key but in August 2025, he proposed to her in their backyard, and she said yes.
The upcoming docuseries will feature Taylor Swift being candid about her relationship with Kelce and how it all worked out for her.
