Trump shared a happy reaction to the couple landing in Florida along with their dog despite his troubled relationship with the Grammy winner.

President Donald Trump had a positive reaction to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s dog story. Shortly after their star-studded wedding, Kelce and Swift were spotted travelling as a newly married couple. TMZ shared photos of Kelce carrying the white fluffy dog off Swift’s private plane on July 12. The plane landed at President Donald J. Trump International Airport, previously known as The Palm Beach International Airport (via USA Today).
The dog, believed to be a Samoyed, followed Kelce down the steps, who carried the luggage. Trump posted a screenshot of an article from The Palm Beach Post with the caption: “So cool!!! President DJT” on his Truth Social account.
Trump’s reaction is rather interesting because he hasn’t exactly shared a warm and wholesome bond with the “Opalite” crooner. Previously, the President shared his thoughts on the Chiefs tight end. Ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs’ win in the Super Bowl LVIII, he said: “I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!”
After that, Trump declared he “hates” the popstar and attempted to sell merchandise similar to Swift’s Eras tour merchandise. In May 2025, he claimed Swift was “no longer hot”. However, a couple of months later, in August 2025, he wished Swift and Kelce well on their engagement.
Trump said: “Well, I wish them a lot of luck. I think he’s a great player, a great guy. I think she’s a terrific person. So, I wish them a lot of luck.”
