Justin Bieber Reportedly Loses Over 200K on Social Media

Justin Bieber has reportedly lost 270,000 followers on Instagram. Fans have conjured up possible reasons behind the sudden drop in followers. As of writing, the “Peaches” crooner boasts of 293 million followers on Instagram and 90.3 million followers on X.

Justin Bieber reportedly faced a decline in his social media followers

The sudden drop in Justin Bieber’s Instagram followers has alarmed his fanbase. The “Daisies” crooner was inching toward adding 100 million followers to his already impressive follower count. However, instead of gaining more followers, Bieber ended up losing 270,000 followers on Instagram (via Unilad).

Social-media tracker Instrack reported a sudden decline in the number of followers in record time. Bieber is also 9.7 million followers shy of the 100 million mark on X. This sent the fandom into a frenzy, as they began to wonder what could have possibly gone wrong. One user argued that Instagram must have omitted a large chunk of followers to ensure there are no bots in the followers list. “Every bot purge hits him for like 1–2M followers,” the user commented.

Some users attributed this to his wife, Hailey Bieber. The pair married in 2018 and welcomed their first child, Jack Blues, in August 2024. The couple frequently give fans a glimpse into their personal lives.

According to Unilad, certain fans are convinced that Bieber’s fangirls have outgrown him and have accepted that he is a married man now. Bieber and Hailey shared a wholesome Thanksgiving photo, and a few fans left distasteful comments on the post.

One fan wrote, “Justin looks so sad, nothing behind those Ojos Tristes. Hailey needs to release Justin please, he doesn’t look happy.”

Another fan commented, “They are trying to convince themselves they are ok as much as they are trying to convince everyone else out here.”

Two days ago, Bieber dropped a sun-kissed selfie on X, where he is directly staring into the camera and flipping the middle finger. Although he did not use words, fans were convinced it was the pop star’s way of saying he couldn’t care less. As of writing, the selfie has garnered 119K likes, 13K retweets, 2.7K bookmarks, and 6.6K comments.

One user penned, “Justin logging in just to disrespect the timeline is wild.” “Another user chimed in, ‘JB showing his middle finger to the followers who unfollowed him.’”
