Sydney Sweeney’s Bold Gown Is a Wardrobe Mishap Waiting To Happen

Sydney Sweeney lit up the red carpet at the premiere of her upcoming movie, “The Housemaid,” looking stunning in a bold Miu Miu gown featuring thin straps and a daring neckline. The “Euphoria” star has never been one to shy away from bold outfits, and her latest look is just more proof of that.

Sydney Sweeney’s custom Miu Miu gown held up by 2 strings is giving Old Hollywood

Ahead of the release of “The Housemaid” on December 19, Sydney Sweeney attended the movie’s premiere in New York City on December 2 in a bold gown. Styled by celebrity stylist Molly Dickson, the actress wore a daring number adorned with sparkly rhinestone jewels. The piece was held up by just two strings, looking like it was a wardrobe mishap waiting to happen.

The Miu Miu gown flared into a dramatic mermaid-style skirt with a small train. She completed the look with jewelry from Messika. She also carried a white feather boa, draped across her arms for a show-stopping, Old Hollywood flourish.

Despite teasing a new bob, Sweeney arrived at the premiere with long, flowing blonde hair, loosely styled around her shoulders. Her eye makeup featured black eyeliner and frosty white eyeshadow, making her blue eyes pop. She also wore a soft, nude-pink lip shade that complemented her glamorous look.

Amanda Seyfried, Brandon Sklenar, Indiana Elle, Megan Ferguson, Ellen Tamaki, and Alaina Surgener also appeared at the premiere alongside the “White Lotus” alum. Additionally, the director of “The Housemaid,” Paul Feig, and author Freida McFadden were also present.

Seyfried graced the red carpet in a floor-length baby pink Versace gown. She accessorized with jewelry from Tiffany and Co., along with shoes from Aquazzura. Just like Sweeney, the “Mean Girls” alum also styled her blonde hair in loose waves.

On December 1, the 28-year-old was seen in two monochromatic looks while promoting the psychological thriller in NYC. The first of these outfits was a cranberry red satin midi dress from Alex Perry, which she wore during her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” The second was a vibrant red custom Patou ensemble that she wore for a dinner at The Corner Store in Soho.
