Southern Charm’s Shep Rose and Whitney Sudler-Smith Sing Creep in Charleston: Watch

Charleston fans looking to see their reality TV faves in the wild got lucky with an impromptu performance by two Southern Charm stars. Shep Rose and Whitney Sudler-Smith were captured by a fan on video singing Creep in a local venue. It was a fun performance, but it doesn’t look like either of these boys should step off the TV screen to pursue a career in music just yet.

Shep Rose and Whitney Sudler-Smith gave a surprise local performance

Shep and Whitney just recently reaffirmed their friendship, and it looks like they are still going strong. The duo celebrated Shep’s birthday month with a trip to the UK. While Shep’s ex, Taylor Ann Green, tried to drive a wedge between them, it looks like their friendship is still solid.

When the two aren’t traveling together, they might be popping up at local Charleston spots and spontaneously grabbing the microphone.

In a fan video, you see Whitney playing the guitar and Shep standing beside him. The two are singing the song Creep by Radiohead. It was mostly Shep singing with Whitney playing and providing some backup vocals.

“I wish I was special,” Shep sang into the mic. “But I’m a creep. I’m a weirdo. What the hell am I doing here? I don’t belong here.”

The ending was a bit shaky, but the audience present gave them polite applause just the same. However, the fans in the comments weren’t quite as nice. One fan commented that Shep was dressed like the Amazon delivery person (and she wasn’t wrong).

Another said, “Well, the lyrics of the song have never been more accurate.” Another comment said, “The irony of this song is chef’s kiss!” And funny enough, one even said, “Where’s Tom Sandoval when you need him???”

It looks like Shep and Whitney shouldn’t quit their day jobs just yet. Unlike Heather Dubrow of The Real Housewives of Orange County, who rocked it with Richard Marx and other reality celebrities who are known for their pipes, these two should just stick to singing for fun (and in Whitney’s case, finding a significant other to appease his mom!).

Southern Charm airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. The show streams on Hayu in Canada, the UK and Ireland.
