While fans were left in a frenzy, the “Iron Man” star’s children, too, had mixed reactions. While her daughter Apple cheered for her mother, her son Moses’ reaction had been the opposite.
Recently, Paltrow attended The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Gala, where she revealed how her children reacted. “My daughter thought it was very badass, and my son was like, ‘Oh my god, mom, this is too much!” Paltrow told Extra TV.
Meanwhile, she was asked the same question in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. In it, she claimed that Apple called her mother “awesome.” However, Moses was “mortified.” “And my son was like, ‘Oh my God, I don’t want to see this,'” the actor added. Despite their reactions, she thinks that her kids are “excited” for the new film. She believes that Apple and Mosses have now “grown up” and can separate on and off-screen situations.
“I’m sure they’ll gag when I’m having a make-out scene, of course. But it’s funny, they haven’t really seen me in movies,” Paltrow said. According to her, the children reportedly avoid “the outside perspective” of who their mother is.
Unlike the teens’ responses, the Oscar winner’s husband, Brad Falchuk, allegedly had a different reaction. An earlier report suggested that he was surprised by his wife’s decision to film an intimate scene with Chalamet.
