Ex-Prince Andrew ‘Won’t Budge’ From Royal Lodge Until Next Year  — Expert

Ex-Prince Andrew was reportedly forced to surrender his lease on Royal Lodge and has been asked to move to another accommodation after being stripped of his titles. While Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is expected to exit from his current accommodation and move to Norfolk in the new year, experts believe he “won’t budge” until next year due to “logistics.”

Ex-Prince Andrew delaying move from Royal Lodge to ‘modest cottage,’ says expert

After being stripped of his titles, Ex-Prince Andrew is expected to exit from his 30-room Windsor mansion, Royal Lodge, in the New Year. He is expected to move to his older brother King Charles’ private estate, Sandringham in Norfolk. But experts believe he will delay his shift and may not relocate until February at the earliest.

“Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor seems to be kicking his heels,” royal author Robert Jobson told HELLO! As per the expert, the “royal has made it clear to the King and courtiers who sent him packing, that he is going nowhere fast.”

The expert even revealed that the former Prince will most likely spend the holidays in his mansion. ”Despite formal notice being served in October to surrender his Royal Lodge lease, he won’t budge until February at the earliest, suggesting he will spend Christmas at Royal Lodge while the King invites the rest of his close family to Sandringham.”

Explaining the delay in the move, Jobson said it’s due to the “Logistics” as “moving two decades of accumulated life from 30 rooms into a modest cottage takes time.” “It is understood Andrew’s Sandringham property isn’t ready. Downsizing is complex, the Palace says.”

However, the author feels “understanding doesn’t mean sympathy.” “Sources say Andrew is ‘leaning on every technical step available’ to slow the process. Delay as strategy. Why rush to your own diminishment?”

Sources had even previously told Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop that the former Prince is in fact demanding “£75,000,000 to even think about moving out.”

Moreover, he is also asking for a six- or seven-bedroom house on the Sandringham Estate as his “replacement” along with a cook, a gardener, a housekeeper, and a driver. Additionally, he is also demanding police protection.
