The professional footballer also referred to his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, as his favorite teammate.
Speaking to a CBS sports reporter about the couple’s exciting news, the 29-year-old Buffalo Bills quarterback said that he was “obviously very happy and very blessed.” He further added after the win, “I love my team, I love my wife, she’s my favorite teammate.”
The quarterback also spoke about the baby news at a postgame press conference. This time, the quarterback said, “I’ve known for a long time, so it’s not that crazy to me.” He added, “You know it’s a really cool, special moment in my life and my wife’s life.”
On Friday, December 12, 2025, Steinfeld and Allen announced that they were having their first baby. Given the popularity of both of them in their respective fields, this announcement received ample excitement from fans. The pair wed in May of this year.
