Kourtney Kardashian is often described as the “most natural” member of the famous family. So, her admission in the most recent episode of The Kardashians is seemingly true to form. However, her reasoning behind her switch to a more natural beauty regime left sister Kim Kardashian confused.
Kourtney hasn’t had Botox in four years
In the penultimate episode of Season 7, Kourtney and Kim are on a mission to protect the local community from the pollution related to the Palisades cleanup. They even enlist the help of none other than Erin Brockovich.
But things took a bit of a weird turn during a meeting about the proposed legislation. As they’re wrapping things up, Kourtney announces: “I haven’t gotten Botox in four years to keep my third eye open.”
Kim is a little taken aback by the comment (us too, Kim. Us too.) She asks why looking at her made her sister think of that. She later said of the remark: “She stared at me and was like, ‘I haven’t had Botox.’ And I was like, ‘Where are you going with this?’ I have. Two nights ago.”
Kourtney tried to explain her reasoning for her Botox-free forehead. She told her sis: “I’ll never get it again, but I’m saying, it keeps my third eye open. My intuition.”
Kim then replies: “Good for you. Mine is closed, and I use a different part of my brain for that and I’m absolutely okay with that.”
Fans of the reality TV show will know that Kourtney has been accused of being a little judgey lately by her sisters. In a previous episode, she announced she no longer had any interest in wearing “outfits,” preferring to wear casual clothes instead.
Kim, meanwhile, is considering cutting back on the Botox due to her new acting career. In a Kardashian’s episode last year, she explained: “I feel like you need less Botox for more emotion and I don’t have it … How am I gonna cry? How am I gonna be scared out of my mind?”
