Gone are the days of lavish estates and multiple house staff. Sarah Ferguson is downsizing in the new year – and that could mean slumming it in a granny flat situation. A source has revealed that the former duchess is apparently considering moving in with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

Fergie and ex-Prince Andrew will be moving out of Royal Lodge in 2026 as part of their ousting from the royal family. The pair have lived together at the estate for around 17 years, despite being divorced since the mid-90s. Now they’re going their separate ways, and Fergie is apparently thinking of moving in with her daughters.
An insider revealed to celeb columnist Rob Shuter: “She’s looking at all her options. The days of multiple homes and lavish living are long gone. She’s thinking practically now.”
It’s not clear if the alleged arrangement would involve living with one or both of the princesses.
That’s apparently not the only thing Fergie is weighing up. While there have allegedly been concerns within the royal family that Andrew could release a tell-all memoir, the source claims it could be Fergie with a bombshell book. The move could net her an advance of around $500,000.
The source added: “She knows exactly what she could sell. But she also knows the price wouldn’t just be paid by her.”
Eugenie and Beatrice have remained welcome at the palace, despite their parents’ ousting. But sources say their place within the royal family is a little bit precarious – so any more drama from Fergie could see them given the boot, too.
The insider said: “Nothing’s been threatened outright. But everyone understands there are lines you don’t cross.”
