Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are set to celebrate their first Christmas together following their engagement announcement in August. The couple reportedly plans to make the holiday extra special by celebrating with both of their families. Additionally, Swift is also rumored to be gifting her fiancé a private island.

Taylor Swift has always had a taste for all things exquisite, and that is also apparent in her gift-giving habits. However, she seems to be planning to go all in this time, as Closer reported that she “won’t scrimp” in her gift for Travis Kelce. In fact, some sources told the outlet that she will be buying him a “private island” near the Bahamas.
The source added, “They’ve always wanted somewhere with complete privacy, and Taylor’s been searching for a few months. They’re renting a $60k-a-night villa on Musha Cay for the New Year, so they’ll likely take the opportunity to visit the new island then.”
Reportedly, Swift and Kelce will celebrate on Christmas Eve since the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Denver Broncos on Christmas Day. An insider said, “Taylor takes Christmas seriously, so she’s already pre-warned everyone that it’ll be as extravagant as ever.”
They added, “She’s spending over $100k on decorations – including a 40ft gold tree adorned with thousands of real crystals and designer baubles, life-sized reindeer and a replica of the Nutcracker scene in fake snow.”
Earlier this month, Swift was promoting “The End of an Era,” a six-part series documenting her Eras Tour. She made an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on December 10 to talk about the series.
Swift announced her engagement to Kelce in a joint Instagram post on August 26, 2025. She wrote in the caption, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” The engagement announcement came nearly two weeks after the Grammy winner announced her twelfth studio album on the “New Heights” podcast.
