Riley Keough is doing her best to keep things from getting out of hand with her family. This comes amidst a bombshell report that suggests the actress is the biological mother of John Travolta’s son Ben. It was her stepfather, Michael Lockwood, who allegedly made that shocking allegation to her grandmother, Priscilla Presley.
Riley is the eldest child of the late Lisa-Marie Presley and musician Danny Keough. Earlier this year, Riley portrayed the role of George Clooney’s daughter in the film Jay Kelly. Riley has two children with her husband, Ben Smith-Petersen.
A source says, “Her mission is just to hold the family together” amid public mess

A source tells Page Six that Riley’s “mission is just to hold the family together.”
The truth about who Ben’s mother actually is may be uncovered soon enough. Reports indicate John’s 15-year-old son could be compelled to give DNA. This would be to prove once and for all if Riley may have donated her eggs to John and his late wife, Kelly Preston. Riley’s grandma, Priscilla, slammed these rumors, calling them “outrageous and unethical.”
The reports have friends close to Riley saying she has to walk a very narrow tightrope in the midst of all of this. Riley has two sisters, Finley and Harper, who are under Michael’s legal custody since Lisa-Marie’s death in 2023. While Riley is reportedly in charge of her sisters’ access to her trust funds, she will have to “play by Michael’s rules,” according to insiders.
Michael and Lisa-Marie had a bitter custody battle for their children before the latter died. Following her mother’s death, Riley settled out of court with Priscilla for millions of dollars. Her grandmother challenged Lisa-Marie’s trust fund in 2016, which had Riley as the sole trustee.
The year before Ben was born, John and Kelly’s son died after suffering a seizure in 2009.
