Donald Trump Reacts to Wife’s New Documentary

President Donald Trump has shared a couple of words on his wife’s upcoming documentary, simply titled “Melania,” which is set to release in late January. The president shared his thoughts on the film while on board Air Force One on Sunday, January 11, though he admits that he has only seen a few scenes of it. The movie will premiere at the controversially renamed Trump-Kennedy Center and other locations across the United States on January 29 before it arrives in select theaters on January 30.

Trump admits he’s only seen “pieces” of the Melania movie

“I’ve seen pieces of it,” Trump said to reporters, per The White House, “it’s incredible.”

The president believes that the documentary will do very well at the box office. “I think it’s going to do very – you know, she did a book [“Melania” written in 2024] and the book was a big number one bestseller, and this is a movie, and it seems to be captivating a lot of people’s attention.”

He then revealed that many wanted to get tickets to the film’s premiere. “It will be very exciting,” he said. “It’s a very hard ticket, I can tell you, everybody, Wayne Gretzky and his wife Janet, beautiful wife, great wife, they said last night, ‘Gee, I want to go.’ Everybody wants tickets to the premiere. I think it’s going to be great.”

The Melania documentary, which runs for about 1 hour and 40 minutes, will cover the first lady’s experience within the 20 days before the inauguration of her husband as the president for a second term. The movie was bought for $40 million and produced by Amazon MGM Studios and is directed by Brett Ratner, who was accused by six women, including Olivia Munn, of sexual misconduct, per Los Angeles Times.

The president didn’t make any comments about her daughter Ivanka Trump allegedly not being in the Melania documentary at all.
