The 66-year-old is reportedly steering clear of certain situations “at all costs” following the public humiliation she endured over her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Royal commentator Richard Eden pointed out that Sara Ferguson, once known for being open and publicity-friendly, now appears determined to avoid being photographed or noticed. He said, “Unusually for Sarah, she’s been keeping an extremely low profile,” adding that her movements over the holiday period have remained largely private (via Express).
While other members of her family continue to be seen occasionally in public settings, Ferguson has taken a different approach. Observers say she has intentionally reduced her appearances and avoided the attention that often follows her.
“I don’t know where she spent Christmas, probably with friends, but unlike Andrew, who is still sometimes seen, you know, riding around Windsor Great Park on his horse, Sarah is gone from someone who is very publicity friendly to someone who is avoiding it at all costs at the moment,” Eden added.
