These days, Dr. Heavenly Kimes calls Quad Webb more than just a friend. The Married to Medicine star is running for political office, and she tapped Quad to serve as her campaign manager.
That work never stops, so during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Quad had to work overtime to defend Dr. Heavenly, both as a political candidate and as an M2M cast member.

Quad sat down with Andy Cohen on the January 18 edition of WWHL. At one point, Andy wanted to test Quad’s skills as a political campaign manager, and he challenged her to “change the narrative” around some of Heavenly’s questionable moments.
Without hesitating, Quad put a positive spin on the scenarios Andy threw at her. Heavenly throwing shade at Toya Bush-Harris during her campaign speech? That’s passion. Carrying fake designer bags? That’s being fiscally responsible. Somehow, Quad even found a way to put a positive spin on Heavenly’s constant use of “yo mama” insults.
“Your mother is in my district, and she wants to see to it that she gives her a better quality of life,” Quad said, defending Heavenly’s favorite clapback.
Quad continued, “She’s going to make sure that she’s fighting for your mother.”
No matter how messy the situation, Quad the spin doctor was able to flip it into a positive thing. She was basically born for politics. The only thing that Quad couldn’t defend was Heavenly constantly referring to her husband as “daddy.” Even Quad couldn’t figure out how to spin that one.
“We gotta put that down,” she admitted.
All jokes aside, Quad and Heavenly are very serious about this campaign. After filming wrapped on Season 12, Heavenly switched her campaign from Georgia State Representative to a bid for the House of Representatives. Some polls suggest that she could even have a path to victory.
