If you have a Heated Rivalry-shaped hole in your life, then listen up. François Arnaud has finally given an update on whether we’ll see more of Scott Hunter and Kip Grady’s romance in future seasons … or in a potential spinoff.
Heated Rivalry Season 2 and a potential spinoff could happen, says François Arnaud
Appearing on Watch What Happens Live this week, François answered a viewer’s question about his character, Scott.
To recap, hockey star Scott and barista Kip have a secret romance, which we see unfold in episode three of Heated Rivalry. The pair briefly split, due to Scott’s fear of coming out, but have an intense reunion in episode five. After winning the Stanley Cup, Scott welcomes Kip – who is watching in the crowd – onto the rink, and they share a very public kiss. It’s a tear-jerker to say the least.
Naturally, viewers have been eager to know if we’ll see more of Scott and Kip in future seasons of Heated Rivalry, and he just confirmed that’s a very real possibility.
“Do you know if Scott and Kip’s story will continue in season two of Heated Rivalry? Or, are the rumors true that you two might star in a spinoff series?” a WWHL viewer asked him.
“Oh, I’m hearing all sorts of things,” François replied. “I’m sure that you will see more of them,” he went on.
“Whether it’s in the main show or in a spinoff, it remains to be, uhh,” the actor added before trailing off. “I’m as anxious as you to know.”
Elsewhere in the WWHL episode, Andy Cohen questioned if François is single right now. “None of your f*cking business,” he replied. To that, Andy said: “It’s not, but I try.”
TELL US – DO YOU WANT TO SEE MORE OF SCOTT AND KIP’S STORY? AND, WOULD YOU WATCH A SPINOFF?
