The Sister Wives cast has seen their cash multiplied through the magic of television, but Meri Brown wants to make sure their assets are fairly divided.
While the Coyote Pass property sold nearly a year ago, Meri’s still disputing the money she’s owed. And it has to do with her Las Vegas home.
Now, Meri wants the money returned that she contributed towards the purchase of Kody and Robyn Brown’s Flagstaff home.

When the Browns left Las Vegas for Flagstaff, their cozy cul de sac homes were sold. “[Meri] wanted all the money from [the sale of her home],” Kody told Sukanya Krishnan in the One-on-One special on January 18. “[But] that’s not how our divorce decree went. It was 50/50.”
Meri and Janelle Brown chipped in to purchase a home in Flagstaff for Robyn and her five kids. “With my contribution,” Meri noted, “they bought the house that was for them. And then, you know, it doubled in value when they sold it. Yay, them.”
Furthermore, after Kody and Robyn traded up for a larger $2.1 million home in 2024, Meri and Janelle reminded them of their investment. That conflict ended up affecting the negotiations surrounding the Coyote Pass sale.
“Janelle and Meri had gifted money to me and Robyn to purchase Robyn’s house,” Kody explained. “[But] the proceeds from [Meri’s] house in Las Vegas, were half mine, OK? So they wanted their 25 percent of Coyote Pass, but I had put extra money in it. They wanted to be paid back for their gift for Robyn’s house, but I hadn’t been compensated.”
They couldn’t come to agreement with Meri. “It would make sense that I would get [the money],” Meri told Suki of her Vegas home. “I’m the only one who lived in it … and I’m the one who made all the payments. But you know what? Your name was on it. So you can have half of it. Like literally, that’s how I felt. I’m not going to fight that.”
Kody admitted that he and Robyn intend to make things right with Meri soon. He claimed he told Meri on the phone, “We always intended to take care of it.”
