Kim Kardashian’s Kid Is Taking ‘Realistic Courses’ for Homeschool

Kim Kardashian has opened up about the unique way she is raising her eldest daughter, North West. In Part 1 of a new “sister chat” on the Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, Kim sat down with Khloé for a candid and fun conversation. While they touched on their long history with Keeping Up with the Kardashians, the heart of the talk was about parenting. The fashion star shared how she balances being a world-famous mogul with being a deeply involved mother who nurtures her children’s individual spirits.

Kim Kardashian’s kid is indeed homeschooled and she takes ‘realistic courses’

Kim explained that North has always had a strong sense of self. From a very young age, she was never afraid to experiment with her look or express her creativity. “I have pictures of her when we’re in first grade, pre-k, where she’d come with like a fake septum ring, and she has her green braids, and she has pink braids… she really is who she is and always has been that girl. Unapologetically. And so, like, I nurture her,” Kim said.

To support this passion, Kim has designed a specialized homeschool curriculum. Instead of traditional textbooks, North takes “realistic courses” that focus on things she is actually into.

This nurturing attitude extends to the headlines North often makes. Whether she is debuting diamond-encrusted grills or sporting a finger dermal piercing, Kim supports her daughter’s “unique” style. North has even been spotted with a bridge piercing and a 106-carat diamond skull pendant, proving she is already a fashion force.

“She is homeschooled and a lot of it is me helping her do a lot of the teachings,” Kim shared. This includes a brand-building class where North learns everything from web design to sewing. For math, they focus on life skills like budgeting. They visit stores, select materials, and subtract the costs from a set budget.

From attending fashion camp at FIT in New York to building her own brand, North is getting a fully interactive education. Kim admits it is a “full-time job” for her, but she loves seeing her daughter grow into herself.
